The SCN Cardboard Boat Race is an exciting hands-on engineering challenge that encourages students to put their creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills to the test. Using only cardboard and tape, teams design and build a boat capable of carrying them across the water.

Participants learn the fundamentals of design, buoyancy, structural engineering, and construction while working together under time constraints. Once the boats are complete, teams race them to see which designs can float the longest, travel the fastest, and survive the challenge.
