The Territorial Skills Competition provides opportunities for students and apprentices to compete in skilled trade and technology competitions. Competitors across Nunavut demonstrate unique abilities, enhance their skills, and strive for excellence in their chosen skill area!
Hosted annually in the April, the Nova Scotia Skills Competition brings together young Nunavumiut competing for the honour of being crowned best in Territory in their chosen field, and for the opportunity to join Team Nunavuta at the Skills Canada National Competition.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Competition registration will open in January 2027.
COMPETITION INFORMATION: Competition will take place in in Iqaluit on 22 & 23 April 2027.
Challange Description
Skills Canada Nunavut annually hosts competitions for both high school and post-secondary level students and apprentices. Each contest is tailored to a specific industry, and competitors are challenged to perform tasks against students from around the Territory.
